Electronics Technician Certificate Program
The Electronics Technician (ET) Certificate program provides flexible, skills-based training in electronic devices and theory. It has been developed for adult learners pursuing basic technician level training through independent study, specifically students who cannot attend college full-time because of work or family commitments. No electronics background is required and there are no academic prerequisites, so anyone can get training in this rapidly-growing industry.
The ET program is an award-winning educational program that consists of 24 modules of interactive curriculum using text, video, audio, 2D and 3D animations and laboratory simulation software. The program covers an introductory curriculum in electronics equivalent to a two year college diploma. This computer-based multimedia program includes pre-tests, interactive exercises, sample exams and online technical and tutorial support to help prepare you for online computer-based final exams.
The program includes 24 modules with each containing text, animations, mini audio lectures, illustrations, review questions, online resources, over 450 pre-built lab projects and practice exams.

One of the main learning features of the ET program is the complete integration of laboratory experiments and projects within the presentation of the electronics theory. This is accomplished through the introduction of circuit simulation software that simulates the behavior of electronic circuits. Students who enroll in the program receive a licensed copy of CircuitLogix Pro, a leading commercially available simulator that includes both 2D- and 3D-circuit simulation tools.
The 3DLAB simulator is introduced early in the content to help students visualize basic electronic circuits, to begin to interact directly with them just like in a real lab and to begin to apply the new skills and knowledge that you have acquired. Animations of the lab simulations supplement the working labs to create a multimedia environment that is very engaging and allows you to virtually step right into the laboratory and the circuit you are working on.
The full version of CircuitLogix includes over 4,000 device models, as well as 8 virtual instruments to greatly enhance the user’s comprehension of electronics. Using CircuitLogix, students have the freedom to try all the “what-if” scenarios - changing parts or component values, then re-running the simulation to see how changes affect the circuit’s operation and performance.
The Program Includes:
- Web-Based Curriculum
- Lab Simulation software
- Sopftware user manual
- Tutorial and Technical Support Access to additional online program resources
- Online Testing
- An optional textbook is available at an additional cost
Register now and get started in the program for $380
Our pay-as-you-learn option allows you to enroll in the program for $345, which pays
for the Interactive Learning Package including lab simulation software and the program
material. Also included in this fee are the tuition, final exam, and ancillary fees
for Module 1 as well as the technical and tutorial support for the module material.
After you complete the first module, you simply pay for additional modules as you
work through them. The remaining 23 modules can be purchased individually at $60 per
module or in groups. You can take up to 2 years to complete the program.
Register in the complete program for $1,760
Register into a complete program and you will have full access to all modules and learning resources in the program. Full registration includes all tuition fees and learning material fees for the program and represents the entire program cost. It also includes the laboratory simulation software program and access to all of the learning resources for the 24 modules as well web-based supplemental resources, free tutorial and technical support and online testing.
