Why does UHD offer this service?

UHD understands that it can be difficult to balance your personal life with your school/work life. They want to provide you and your eligible dependents with solutions to problems.

How do I get started?

Where do I go for an appointment?

You may request a location by your work, child’s school or your residence. We also offer nationwide coverage. Call our main office at 713-500-3327 for an available location near you.

How much does the EAP cost?

This program is free. As a benefit, UHD pays for this service. They value you as a member of this community and look for ways to help you achieve your full potential.

Are the services confidential?

All calls and visits to UTEAP are confidential as defined by law. Information about you or the issues shared will not be disclosed to your organization or other persons without your written permission.

Can I call UTEAP for non-crises concerns?

Absolutely. We are here as a life management tool. We can help tailor wellness programs, customize a specific training, or just lend that supportive ear when you need to talk. Call when you need a new perspective on things; call when you simply need to blow off steam; call when you need help identifying available options; just call.

Who will provide services to me?

All therapists are experienced Masters/Ph.D. level clinicians located at offices convenient to your home or work. They provide a structured, face-to-face approach for helping you and your household members find solutions to everyday challenges.

Do you offer Work/Life Benefits?
