Thank you for considering UHD's College of Business for your employment needs.  We have students majoring and minoring in a wide range of Bachelor degrees ranging from accounting, business, international business, computer information sciences,  economics, finance, risk management, public relations, supply chain and management.

There is no fee for employers using this program.  The program is designed to accomodate your needs.  We have placed students in short term (3 to 6 months) internships, part time and full time positions.  The hours are up to you.  Some students will need more flexibility than other students with regards to schedules.  You will have to alert us to your requirements.  You may require a student for only 10 hours a week, or up to 30 hours a week. You might want the intern to be available specific days and hours of the week.  Previous positions have paid between $10 to $20 an hour based on the work involved and the experience of the student.

The Internship Office offers employers the following services:
1. Locating suitable candidates - based on the job description, we will match candidates to the position using our database of available students and by faculty recommendations.
2. Filtering of resumes - we will make a short list of suitable candidates using the parameters set by your firm.  For example you may only want students who have taken a number of finance courses, or students who are a year from graduation.
3. Interview rooms - some companies preferred to hold the first interview on campus.  We provide parking for the interviewer and help organize the interview schedule.

Alternately, we can also direct candidates directly to your organization.
