  • Seasoned landmen (both field and in-house)

  • Experienced land administration personnel with three or more years of job experience in the field

  • Professionals with less job experience but who have obtained a PLM certificate from an accredited education institution

Why Get an Advanced PLM Certificate?

Industry demands deeper and broader PLM knowledge

According to a recent survey, 50 percent of UHD PLM students who completed all required courses in 2013 believe they would benefit from more advanced PLM courses, including the use of geographic information systems (GIS) in land management. This opinion is widely supported by industry experts. There is a need for professionals with a deep understanding of the legal aspects of the PLM field and their practical implications:

  • State-specific legal concepts of ownership

  • Common provisions of the oil and gas lease

  • Restrictive covenant and title standards

  • New environmental regulations created by legislation, court decisions and governmental agencies
