UHD Trip to London and Edinburgh

Costs & Payments

Travel Package
All travel packages include: roundtrip airfare, airfare between London and Edinburgh, transfers to/from airports and transportation points; hotel accommodations for each night in Edinburgh and London; English breakfast daily; 3 three-course dinners; tips for servers, drivers, and guides; an administrative fee; and course-specific costs.

The price varies according to whether or not you will have a roommate:

Double occupancy: $2975
Single occupancy: $3725


In previous years, students have received as much as $1,500 in combined scholarship aid. Actual amounts vary from year to year, depending on funds, quality of applications and number of applicants.


UHD Study Abroad Award
Requirements:

  • Successful completion of 30 semester credit hours, 12 completed at UHD
  • UHD G.P.A. is 2.0 or higher
  • Good academic, financial and disciplinary standing at UHD
  • Fulfill prerequisites for the course in which you want to enroll
  • Enrolled in at least 3 semester credit hours at the time of application

Payment Information
A deposit of at least $200 is needed to enroll in the program. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refund Policy - TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY

  • The initial $200 payment is non-refundable and non-transferable; IT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED AT ANY POINT.
  • If you drop out of the program after December 3, you will forfeit an additional $925, unless a wait-listed person is able to take your place.
  • If you drop out of the program after the Spring semester Drop/Add deadline on January 18, 2013, you will lose 100% of your money.

Late payment policies

  • If the minimum payments indicated above are not made by the stated deadlines, you may be removed from the program and the class; in this event, partial refunds will be provided only if a wait-listed person is able to take your place.  [Note:  the initial $200 will not be refunded under any circumstances.] 
  • Scholarships do NOT exempt you from any payments or deadlines.  In other words, if the scholarship money is delayed or you do not receive the amount you expected, you are still bound by the payment deadlines and policies stated above.  [Advice:  Do NOT apply for this trip if you require a specific amount of scholarship money to make it work.]
