College of Humanities & Social Sciences Scholarships
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is now taking applications for the following scholarships:
Alicia Spencer Castillo Memorial Scholarship - named in memory of the mother of Dr. Max Castillo, this scholarship awards $500 per semester.
Declared major in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences - Enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours
- Grade point average of 3.00
Christy Drennan Memorial Scholarship – for students interested in pursuing a career in journalism, this scholarship awards $500 per semester.
- Enrolled in a degree or certificate undergraduate or graduate program at UHD
- In good standing at the university
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in print, electronic, or online journalism
Donald R. Engstrom Memorial Scholarship – this scholarship awards $500 per semester.
- Enrolled in programs in English or Arts and Humanities
- In good standing at the University
- Demonstrated leadership qualities

To apply, print and complete the application.
