All UHD students are invited to present four-to-five-page papers or eight-minute presentations on the topic of gender. We seek papers from students in all majors. All topics are welcome; here are some sample topics:

• Gendered representations of the military and war, post-war culture, or memories of war
• Gender parity in education, economics, politics, religion, or health
• Gender disparities in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
• Gender and globalization
• Gender and race
• Gender and class
