Organization Description
Our mission is to protect the unprotected. Adult Protective Services investigates the abuse and neglect of the elderly 65 years and older and person with disabilities 18 years older.

Description of Internship

Interns will be able to, but not limited to, participate in community engagement projects such as collaborating with other social service agencies to find resources for Adult Protective Services clients, attend community engagement meetings, and shadow Adult Protective Services caseworkers by attending home visits and sitting in interviews.

Criteria for Interns
18 years and older. No pre-required skills. The internship is available to all social science majors. We do require a criminal background check.
