Air Quality
Air pollution is linked to a variety of diseases, including asthma, heart disease and cancer. Houston has consistently been ranked among the most polluted cities in the United States. UHD students explored this issue through their research projects and volunteer activities with Mothers for Clean Air on Earth Day Houston 2009.
