Freshman Summer Success Program

Program Schedule


Participating in the Freshman Summer Success Program fulfills your Orientation requirement.
Program participants may choose EITHER of two weeks the program is offered; once you select your week then choose EITHER a Sat/Mon/Tue schedule OR a Sat/ Tues/Thurs schedule:

Select Week 1 or Week 2 and, depending on availability, a M/W/F schedule or a T/TH/F schedule:

  • Week 1   

    Sat, June 21st (9a.m. – 3p.m.) Opening Session for Week 1 participants and parents
    Mon (6/23) and Wed (6/25) (9a.m. – 3p.m.)  or    Tues  (6/24)  and Thurs (6/26)  (9a.m. – 3 p.m.)
    Fri (6/27)  Banquet  for Week 1 students and a guest   (6– 8:30 p.m.)

  • Week 2

    Sat, July 12th (9a.m. – 3p.m.) Opening Session for Week 2 participants and parents
    Mon (7/14) and Wed (7/16) (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.)  or    Tues  (7/15) and Thurs (7/17)  (9a.m. – 3 p.m.)
    Fri (7/18)  Banquet for Week 2 students and a guest    (6– 8:30 p.m.)

From Ernest J. Gaines' novel "A Lesson Before Dying," the 2014 Common Reader.

FSSP participants will recieve a copy of the novel at the closing banquet.
