The online bachelor's degree completion program in Criminal Justice is designed for individuals interested in completing their degree in Criminal Justice in a non-traditional manner. If you have already earned an associate degree or have approximately two years of college credit (60 semester hours) and are interested in obtaining your degree from an accredited state university but prefer to have the capability of earning it while continuing your employment, this program may be a perfect fit for your lifestyle. Whether in the military or working on an isolated oil rig, this online CJ degree program offers you the opportunity to obtain your degree in as little as 18 months from the start of your first class.
Available totally online or combined with traditional classroom instruction, the program is ideal for traditional or non-traditional, full or part-time students located almost anywhere in the world.

If you currently possess an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Criminal Justice, our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) degree in Criminal Justice fulfills your requirements. In either case, our advisors in the Criminal Justice program will assist you in determining the quickest path based on your previous education, to earning your bachelor's degree.
With an associate degree in Criminal Justice, a student may need less than 60 hours to complete our 120 semester hour bachelor’s degree program, depending on the classes previously taken.
Designed primarily for students completing their junior and senior upper-level course work, the university also has a partnership with local Texas community colleges, such as Houston Community College, Lone Star College or Central Texas College, to accept their lower-level courses, including their own online classes to fulfill any lower-level requirement that may still be needed by our students. Working with your advisor you will be aware of the most cost effective, direct route to obtaining your bachelor's degree in the minimal amount of time.
