Business Administration Council is a unique student operated organization, managed by motivated business students working to build and grow the University of Houston-Downtown Northwest Campus and its professional networks.
No President, Vice President, or Treasurer….etc. instead BAC is led and managed by a Board of Directors. The UHD BAC Advisor serves as the Chief Executive Officer responsible for hiring and leading all board components. The Student Board of Directors is comprised of and supports the various disciplines of UHD's Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). The various disciplines supported and managed by the board of directors are: Business/Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations and Social Media.
Under the direction of the board of directors an interviewing process begins for managers, analysts and planners to support the BAC Directors. The students who become involved in this organization are then provided a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic business model utilizing a D.M.A.I.C. approach. BAC students will be active in: networking with industry, defining and analyzing growth goals, hosting numerous events, supporting community outreach, and much more.
