Transient Students: If you are a current student working towards a bachelor's degree at another college or university and would like to attend UHD for only one semester or during the summer, you may qualify for transient undergraduate admission to UHD.

Transient Application

1. Apply online at applytexas.org
2. Submit official transcript or official letter from the Registrar's office or Academic College of current school stating proof of academic standing.
   Transcripts are official when sent directly from an institution or delivered in person in the institution's sealed envelope. Please note: UHD does not currently accept transcripts from electronic PDF services such as eSCRIP-SAFE, Avow Systems and ADDS+, National Student Clearinghouse, TranscriptsPlus, and others.
3. Pay non-refundable application fee.
   Pay at applytexas.org during application process or click on link to the right to pay after submitting application. Please review Deadlines.
4. Track your application status online.

Additional Information

Transient applicants are eligible to enroll for one semester or two summer terms only.

Transient students are not eligible for financial aid.

A transient student who wishes to remain at UHD or plans to attend in a future semester must reapply and be accepted as a transfer student.

If you are a transient student interested in taking Business courses, please contact the College of Business before applying for admissions. Additionally, please be prepared to provide a letter of good standing and prior written approval from your Institution.
