Get the latest weather data and LIVE webcam photos
from UH-Downtown
at One Main Street in downtown Houston!

UHD is participating as a reporting site for the AWS WeatherNet WeatherBug network. In addition to collecting data on weather conditions such as temperature, humidity and wind direction, a webcam captures views looking south from the UH-Downtown campus.

The webcam is mounted on the South Deck of the Academic Building, aiming toward Buffalo Bayou and downtown Houston. The camera has 16 views that change every three minutes.

You can download the WeatherBug for free to get an icon for your desktop that instantly connects you to weather information. Please be advised that WeatherBug is a sponsored, commercial site.

And, UH-Downtown is one of the neighborhood weather reporting stations in the Local2 (KPRC-TV, Channel 2) WeatherNet. You can customize a list of neighborhood weather stations through the weather section of the Click2Houston website.

AWS WeatherNet is part of the national homeland security effort.
