It is recommended that you complete your FAFSA online as it is quicker and more accurate. Apply for admission
If you have not yet been admitted to UH-Downtown submit your application as soon as possible. We will only review applications for students who have been admitted as a degree-seeking student to UH-Downtown. Students admitted as Transient students are not eligible to receive financial aid.
Submit all required documents
After we have received the results from your FAFSA, we will make a request for any additional documentation needed. Our main method of correspondence is through email so be sure to check your gatormail account on a regular basis. Please review your Student Aid Report for important information regarding your application and also any notifications of additional documentation to be submitted to UH-Downtown.
Have your funds available for payment
If we have received your FAFSA, you’ve been admitted as a degree seeking student to UH-Downtown and you have submitted all requested documentation you are now ready to be processed for financial aid. The review of your information could take between 3 to 10 business days depending on the time of year and type of documentation requested.
