Eligibility:

All University of Houston-Downtown students enrolled in the CURRENT semester are eligible for all services.

A UH-Downtown I.D. is required for all services.


Students not attending Summer classes but was enrolled in the Spring Semester
or pre-registered for the Fall Semester are eligible to enrolled into the Summer Health Program.

Clinicians are not available when classes are not in session.

  • Ambulatory care for acute or chronic illnesses
  • Care for Minor Injuries
  • Women's Health:  Including Annual Exams/Pap Smears
  • Annual exams/pap smears FAQ's Read More...
  • Men's Health:  Including Annual Exams
  • Preventive Medical Services
  • Hypertension Screening
  • Laboratory Testing:  Including Pregnancy, STD/HIV and Diagnostic Testing
  • Family Planning Counseling
  • Health Counseling and Education

Nursing services may not be available during all business hours

  • General Health Consultation for illnesses or injuries
  • Blood Pressure Screening
  • TB Skin test (Not available on Thursday)
  • Confidential HIV testing
  • Pregnancy Testing - Urine and Serum (Blood)
  • Tetanus and Diphtheria Booster Vaccine
  • Laboratory Testing:  Including Pregnancy, STD/HIV and Diagnostic Testing
  • Health Counseling and Education
  • Lactation Room -  room where a breastfeeding woman can use a breast pump in private.

  • A fee is required for clinician visits, laboratory testing, medications, procedures missed appointments/late cancellations and some supplies.
  • Contact Student Health Services for additional information
  • Charges for services are transferred to a Student's Account.
  • Prices, hours, services and product availability are subject to
    change without notice
  • Closed on official University Holidays
