Job Summary

The Assistant Coordinator, Purchasing processes purchase orders and coordinates university procurement card program

Duties

  • Reviews requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Addresses purchase order discrepancies and disputes
  • Approves requisitions and processes purchase orders
  • Trains and assists departments with purchase requisitions
  • Reviews and processes change orders
  • Solicits informal bids, analyzes and tabulates bids and awards best value
  • Assists with soliciting formal bids, analyzing & tabulating bids and awarding best value
  • Assists departments with finding HUB vendors
  • Assists HUB vendors with inquiries and questions

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business with no experience or a bachelor's degree with minimum of one (1) years of job related experience
