Job Summary

The Associate Registrar of Articulation and Matriculation oversees the intake and processing of admissions documents through the articulation of transfer credits and reviews of additionally submitted documents and determines the admissions decisions of undergraduate applicants. The Associate Director oversees the proper software setup via Peoplesoft and Apply Texas Application.

Duties

  • Maintains all electronic databases related to articulation and matriculation, enters, and retrieves information, and writes queries to special product reports
  • Ensures tasks delegated to the Articulation and Matriculation team are efficiently carried out, as well as overseeing the entire team in their day-to-day responsibilities
  • Serves in troubleshooting issues related to received transcripts, both domestic and international, and without articulation and matriculation processing, as well as maintaining and making any updates to self-reporting data-capturing software
  • Provides oversight support and resolutions to matters related to customer service for our articulation and matriculation unit and work with internal and external constituents on such items. Files correspondence and records as needed by the Articulation and Matriculation unit
  • Provides information concerning department policies and procedures to students and other departments throughout the University. Works with external constituents, such as local community college districts
  • Prepares correspondence, graphs, charts, and reports using various software for reporting and auditing purposes

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Information on Systems, or related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of TES and the transferability of coursework from colleges and universities
  • Knowledge of the enrollment management systems
  • Knowledge of working with transcripts service systems for articulation reviews, such as Parchment, Naviance, or OneOrigin
