Job Summary

The Coordinator, Default Prevention oversees student loan counseling sessions and monitors compliance with the plan to assure lowest possible default rates.

Duties

  • Oversees entrance and exit counseling sessions
  • Certifies loan requests and manages repayment data
  • Handles delinquent and default reports
  • Assists students, lenders, guarantors, staff, and faculty with questions regarding student loans
  • Resolves student loan questions
  • Handles incoming and outgoing student loan checks
  • Promotes financial literacy

Required Education:

  • Baccalaureate degree or no degree with minimum of two years of job-related experience

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:
