Request a TexShare Card

The TexShare Card Program is an initiative of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission that allows UHD students, faculty, and staff to borrow books and other materials from participating Texas libraries. See the TexShare website for rules of participation and a list of participating libraries.  TexShare Cards expire at the end of each semester. Lending rules are set by each participating library, so be sure to call ahead before you visit another library to ask about their lending rules and to verify that you are eligible to borrow the materials you need.


Who is eligible for a TexShare Card?
Current students, faculty, and staff in good standing can request a TexShare Card free-of-charge from the W.I. Dykes Library Circulation Desk, or by making a request online.
