House Bill 2504

In 2009, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 2504 requiring that all institutions of higher learning make specific information concerning undergraduate academic programs available to the public (a syllabus, a curriculum vitae (C.V.) for each instructor, and a departmental budget if available).

The effective date to comply with certain requirements of the bill is August 30, 2010.

Accessing the Information on UHD's Website

Syllabi, Faculty Curriculum Vitaes (CVs), and Departmental Budgets:

The course syllabus, curriculum vitae (C.V.), and departmental budget information (if available) will be viewable beginning on the first class day of the semester by visiting the UHD Class Schedule within Student e-services directly or from the home page using the instructions below.

Textbooks:

A direct link to view textbook information for each course and/or purchase textbooks is also provided at the top of the UHD Class Schedule within Student e-services. Or you can access the link directly here:  TEXTBOOKS

There are multiple options available for navigating to the information which are outlined below.

Option 1

1. Visit the UHD home page and select Class Schedule from beneath the Registrar's menu.
   
   
   
2. Search the class schedule semester and campus.
   
   
   
3. Enter your course search criteria and select Search.
   
   
   

Information is pictured below.

1. The curriculum vitae (C.V.) (referred to as e-Curriculum Vitae in the example below) is viewable beneath the instructor's name for each course.
2. The budget (if available) is viewable beneath the Fee column.
3. The course syllabus (referred to as e-Syllabus in the example below) is viewable beneath the column titled Supplemental Information.
4. A direct link to purchase textbooks is viewable within the menu above the class schedule.

1. Visit the UHD home page and view myUHD.
   
   
   
2. Within myUHD, view the UHD class schedule & e-Syllabi.
   
   
   
3. Search the class schedule using any criteria.
