| This is Coach Mitchell's fifth year leading the UHD women's club basketball team. Under Coach Mitchell's direction, the team captured back to back titles in the Lone Star Conference in 2007 and 2008. She is a graduate from the University of St. Thomas with both a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. She was part of a successful high school basketball program at Westfield High School in Houston, Tx. Coach Mitchell remained actively involved in the game by playing on the women's club basketball team at the University of St. Thomas.
