3rd Floor Desk Attendant
The 3rd Floor Attendant is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services and programs of Sports & Fitness. Specifically, this includes monitoring the access into building on 3rd floor level and answering the main switchboard. Our hours of operation are Mondays-Thursday 7am-9pm and Friday 7am-7pm. College work study a plus. $7.55 per hour.
1st Floor Attendant
The 1st Floor Attendant is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services and programs of the Student Life Center. Specifically, this includes monitoring the access into building on 1st floor level, checking out equipment, and monitoring activities in East and West Gymnasiums and lobby area. Our hours of operation are Mondays-Thursday 7am-9pm and Friday 7am-7pm. College work study a plus. $7.55 per hour.
Fitness Center Attendant
The Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services and programs of Sports & Fitness. Specifically, this includes monitoring the activities on the 2nd floor Fitness Center, and overlooking the activities in the West and East gymnasiums. Our hours of operation are Mondays-Thursday 7am-9pm and Friday 7am-7pm. College work study a plus. $7.55 per hour.

Job Descriptions
Typical positions available at Sports & Fitness are the 1st & 3rd Floor Desk Attendants, and the Fitness Center Attendants. The Student Supervisor position is usually hired from within. The Sports Supervisor position is usually offered to those within the organization who are very knowledgeable in sports. The Web Developer position is generally offered to someone who is knowledgeable in HTML & CSS and has had experience in website and graphic design.
We need students who are able to work days and evenings as well as weekends.

The Student Supervisor is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services and programs of Sports & Fitness. Specifically, this includes supervising activities within building when full-time staff are not present, monitoring activities throughout building, assisting with marketing efforts, assisting with facilitating Sports & Fitness activities, and office assignments. |

The Web Developer is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services and programs of Sports & Fitness. Specifically, this includes updating and maintaining the content and design of the Sports & Fitness website, in addition to creating and posting flyers for departmental activities and events. |
How to Apply
Before applying for student employment with UHD Sports & Fitness, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be registered at UHD for academic classes.
- You must have a UHD minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. First time students at UHD are exempt from this.

Step 1: Complete the application (found at the link above). Must be typed.
Step 2: Have the three (3) reference forms completed (found on at the link above).
Step 3: Turn in your completed application and the three (3) reference forms to the Student Life Center 3rd floor office. Must be typed.
The application process is now complete. Sports & Fitness will contact you for an interview if you meet the qualifications for employment and there is an opening in the schedule.
Note: Interviews for fall semester normally take place in July, interviews for spring semester employment normally take place in November and interviews for summer semester employment take place in May.
