Upward Bound at the University of Houston-Downtown graduated its first class in June 1980. Since that date, over 950 students have successfully completed the program.
Upward Bound staff members track the progress of and maintain regular contact with graduates. Alumni give back to the program by tutoring, mentoring current students, speaking at program workshops and providing support for the program in a number of ways.
Alumni of Upward Bound at the University of Houston-Downtown are encouraged to provide program staff with contact information. We use this information to stay in touch and keep alumni informed of upcoming events.
