MBA Admissions Process for International Students
International applicants interested in our MBA program are only eligible for UHD MBA traditional process (UHD MBA soft start is not available for F1 students). International students will need to submit all of the following items to be considered for the program. An applicant's admission status cannot be reviewed until his/her file is complete and all items are received.
1. Complete online application. Apply online using the UHD online graduate application.

2. Submit the following:
a. Official transcripts(s) from the degree granting institution. Transcripts from foreign institutions must be evaluated by one of the UHD acknowledged companies (follow the link below)

Please make sure the evaluating company includes the course by course evaluation and the GPA.
b. Official GMAT score report. Under certain circumstances, prospective UHD MBA applicants may request a waiver for the GMAT when applying to the program. The UHD MBA Admissions Committee will consider, on a case-by-case basis, GMAT waiver requests from applicants who have completed an advanced degree (e.g. masters or higher), have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, 3.0 or higher in their last 60 hours or have already taken a GRE/LSAT/MCAT exam at least six months prior to applying to the UHD MBA program. The decision of the MBA Admissions Committee on GMAT waiver is final. Fill out the online GMAT waiver request.
c. Official TOEFL score report if you graduated from a country where English is not the official language. The minimum score needed is 81 for iBT TOEFL and 6.5 for the IELTS exam.

Submit the following documents in pdf file format to: gradadmissions@uhd.edu
a. Two letters of recommendation from professional references. Download the professional reference form.
b. A personal statement of approximately 250-500 words addressing why the applicant desires an MBA from UHD, as well as other circumstances the applicant desires to share with the admissions committee. You can find Helpful Tips on writing your personal statement in our FAQ.

3. Financial Eligibility
Current bank statement from the student's sponsor that is not more than three months old with a minimum balance of $35,000 US dollars or equivalent. This amount will not be required immediately but is a mandatory item for obtaining your form I-20 that you will receive from UHD to apply for the F1 visa. If you have dependents who will accompany you, the bank statement should include an extra $6,180 US dollars for the spouse and $3,280 US dollars per child. 4. Affidavit of support
You must provide an affidavit of support from the sponsor providing the bank statement. This form is required to prove that you have the finances necessary to fund the length of your stay in the US. If you are self-sponsored, you can fill out the affidavit for yourself and attach it to your bank statement.
5. Copy of your valid passport.
International application deadlines are October 1st for Spring and May 1st for Fall. Any applications received after this date will be considered for the following semester.
