What exactly is coding? It’s like giving a computer a set of directions to follow. These directions, called "programs," tell the computer exactly what to do, step by step, so it can carry out tasks for you.

But here’s the catch: computers don’t understand our everyday language. Instead, they need something called programming languages, which are specially designed for them. When you learn a programming language, you’re essentially learning how to “talk” to a computer so it can understand and execute your commands.
