We are a Roman Catholic church, school and mission (chapel), one of the 147 parishes and 47 parochial schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, which compromises 10 countries in southeast Texas.

The learning opportunity we have for a university student is in the Office of Advancement.  This new department at Resurrection is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive advancement program that will secure private funding, with special emphasis on the school.

Specific responsibilities for an intern will include prospect research, contact and research reports, proposal development and occasional assistance with events.  Accordingly, the intern will have excellent organizational skills, an interest in reading and research, and superb and accurate writing skills.  Some experience with planning and creating budgets is also desirable.  Our preference is a student majoring in professional or technical writing, however we would accept an intern from any discipline provided that the student can demonstrate exceptional skills in writing.
