Dr. Danielle Bevan
Dr. Danielle Bevan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at UH-Downtown. She has a Ph.D. In Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education, an M.Ed. In Gifted Education, and a B.S. in Mathematics. She has worked in public high schools teaching mathematics and has worked with pre-service teachers for the last seven years. During her time earning her Ph.D., she was awarded Excellence in Teaching for Graduate Students at Texas A&M University. She is passionate about education and helping young people know they are capable of learning and doing mathematics.
