About Event

Our Annual Alumni & Friends Celebration Dinner is becoming one of the most anticipated events at the University of Houston-Downtown bringing together alumni, faculty, staff and friends for an evening of comradery and joy. The net proceeds of this event support the UHD Compass Points Fund – an investment in the success of UHD students guided by the University’s Institutional Compass.

The event celebrates UHD and honors alumni and university advocates whose prominence and distinction have increased pride within the university community. The dinner expects to draw 600 of our most prominent corporate and community leaders, along with university administrators, alumni and friends.

The evening will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, wine pull, and an inspirational awards and dinner program at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Houston.
