I have nearly 40 years' experience as an accounting professional (Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor) in both the private sector and academics. I have held several management level positions including Controller and Financial Accounting Manager for local Houston area organizations. My academic experience spans the last 20 years and includes 9 years as the Department Chair for Business Technologies for Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont Texas. I have been employed as an Accounting Lecturer for the University of Houston-Downtown since 2015.
