Job Summary
The Director, Academic Support Center provides leadership and oversight of the Writing & Reading Center, the Math & Statistics Center, and the Supplemental Instruction Program by implementing an overarching strategic plan that aims to improve student retention and graduation rates.
Duties
- Develops and monitors student outcomes and retention assessments to determine the overall effectiveness of Academic Support Center services
- Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates full-time professional staff
- Manages and approves departmental budgets; proposes new budgetary initiatives to support student success and retention
- Aligns Academic Support Center services to support the general education common core, early alert, and academic recovery student programs
- Collaborates with the University College and Academic Affairs departments to implement student programming for freshman, FTIC, and conditional admit programs

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Master's Degree
Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience
License/Certification:

- Master's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
