Job Summary
The Specialist, Articulation & Matriculation processes, evaluates, analyzes, and executes transfer credit coursework for new, transfer, and currently enrolled students for admissions and graduation purposes.
Duties
- Processes applications and transcripts for admissions
- Evaluates and awards transfer credit coursework for new, transfer, and currently enrolled students
- Analyzes applicant credentials to ensure data integrity
- Matriculates student applications within PeopleSoft
- Evaluates transcripts of applicants for discrepancies; researches and resolves issues as necessary
- Runs evaluation requests; creates transfer credit equivalencies in the system; enters transfer credits and facilitates uploads between systems

Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience, including experience in articulating course work from transcripts and in PeopleSoft
License/Certification:
- None required
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in spoken Spanish is preferred; community college enrollment experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of registration and admission procedures for credit and non
- credit classes and the related trends, issues, and best practices;
- Knowledge of community college course work and the transferability of coursework
Skills:
- Good technical skills, including proficiency in PeopleSoft, TES, and CAPP; strong logical and analytical problem solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good organizational, time management, and project planning skills.
Abilities:
- Ability to collect, verify, and report data;
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
