Step 2

Dept Administrative Staff initiate Create a Requisition in Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Step 3

Requisition forwarded to appropriate levels for approval

Step 4

Requisition forwarded to HR Talent Acquisition for review and approval

Step 5

Position posted on HR - Careers at UHD website and advertised

Step 6

Applicants apply for position on HR - Careers at UHD website

Step 7

HR Talent Acquisition reviews and forwards Applicants who meet minimum qualifications to hiring department

Step 8

Hiring Manager/Screening Committee select Applicants who met minimum qualifications for interview

Step 9

Hiring Manager/Dept Administrative Staff update Applicants status (selected/rejected) in ATS

Step 10

Hiring Manager/Screening Committee interview Applicants and select final candidate(s)

Step 11

Hiring Manager/department administrative staff update the status of applicant(s) selected and create Offer Grid in ATS

Step 12

Offer Grid forwarded to appropriate levels for approval

Step 13

HR Talent Acquisition extends contingent offer to Candidate

Step 14

Candidate accepts verbal contingent offer

Step 15

HR Talent Acquisition conducts a criminal background check on Candidate

Step 16

Candidate passes criminal background check; HR Talent Acquisition extends official verbal offer and offer letter is sent in ATS

Requisitions requiring a Search Committee require the Affirmative Action Officer initial review and approval.

Unapproved Requisitions and Offers are returned to the department.
