Calling parents of basketball fanatics: Registration is now open for the Youth Basketball 4 Skills Development Camp held at UHD’s state-of-the-art Wellness and Success Center (WSC). A collaboration between UHD and the Houston Rockets, the camp (June 10-14) will give your 10-to-16-year-old son or daughter the opportunity to learn from trained experts and develop life-long skills in teamwork, discipline, and leadership. It will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Under the guidance of former Houston Rockets player and NBA Champion, Matt Bullard, campers will also learn essential basketball skills like dribbling, passing, footwork and more. In addition, Memorial Hermann professionals will provide athletic training for campers, ensuring a safe and fun experience for all.

As if that weren’t enough to delight your aspiring NBA player, cost of attendance includes adidas workout gear, a camp t-shirt, two tickets to a Houston Rocket’s home game for the 2024-2025 season, a special visit with Rockets beloved mascot, Clutch, and a to-be-revealed Rockets basketball player or legend.
