This in-person conference will cover institutional branding, student engagement, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts, peers, and college students on the latest trends and strategies for social media in higher education.

“Attending the Higher Education Social Media Summit offers UHD faculty and staff an invaluable opportunity to master the latest social media strategies,” said Dr. Daniel Villanueva, Vice President, Enrollment Management. “This summit is not just about learning new tools; it's a chance to effectively enhance engagement with students and the community, improve retention through better communication, and leverage these platforms to strengthen the university's branding. Engaging with industry experts and peers will also provide unique insights and practical takeaways that can transform our collective social media efforts. Whether you want to expand your digital footprint or connect more meaningfully with your audience, this summit promises to be an enriching experience that aligns perfectly with the educational environment at UHD.”

Later that day, all UHD social media managers are invited to the inaugural UHD Social Media Roundtable Discussion from 3:45 to 5 p.m. to share ideas, campaigns, and campus updates. This event is reserved for UHD staff who manage official UHD social media accounts, and registration is required.
