This year, UHD's vitalvoices series has tackled everything from pornography addiction and sexual violence to the early lives of African Americans in the Bayou City. These thought-provoking sessions feature distinguished scholars, acclaimed authors, and professors, including our very own Dr. Ethan Marshall, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. What makes these events so unique? The seminars are free to attend for students, faculty, staff, and the Houston community, and the sessions are conveniently located on-campus at the College of Public Service (CPS) or online via Zoom.
If you haven't had the chance to attend a seminar online or in-person, we encourage you to check-out the recorded sessions here. Better yet, you can make plans to attend one or both of the upcoming lectures that are sure to be just as intriguing as the previous seminars. Keep reading to learn more about the next two installments of the vitalvoices speaker series.
