Dear Faculty and Staff,
We have been working on clarifying the course buyout guidelines for funded research and scholarly activities. This has been an ongoing process where we requested and received feedback from multiple constituents across our campus.
Based on responses from Faculty Senate, and specifically the Faculty Senate taskforce,
the President’s Cabinet, the Academic Deans, and in cooperation with the Office of
Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), we are pleased to share the updated guidelines for course buyout for externally funded projects.
