What is a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice?
Students in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice program will examine an in-depth analysis of the causes of crime, the definition and measurement of crime, and society's formal and informal efforts at preventing and controlling crime. Understanding that criminal justice is an applied science, students are taught to integrate theory, empirical validation, and practical application. This degree program provides students with a path to a fully accredited bachelor's degree, especially if they have previously completed course-work for technical, applied or military credit, or have earned a technical or applied degree from a community or technical college.
