NEW FACULTY ORIENTATION 

The 2023 New Faculty Orientation will be conducted in person on August 10 and 11, 2023. The sessions are broken into two half-days allowing new faculty time to meet with their departments and become acquainted with campus. During the sessions, faculty will be introduced to UHD's mission and vision, its student body, student support and success resources, research and grant opportunities, pedagogical best practices, policy and procedures. We encourage you to use these days to meet with your chair and dean and will identify time in the schedule that is forthcoming.  We will also host a reception on the evening of the 11th.​
