The Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society has recently announced MDCOB's chapter as a “high honor" chapter.

This designation comes after the student organization was recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and the efforts of the chapter officers who represent Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of Houston Downtown. The high honor status will be recognized on the BGS website, BGS events, and in BGS publications. This status also makes the chapter eligible to nominate candidates for global awards such as Outstanding Chapter Advisor of the Year and Business Achievement and Entrepreneurial Achievement Awards.

Marilyn Davies College of Business is proud of the work that Beta Gamma Sigma has done and continues to do in the community and its dedication to education and student involvement.
