2025 UHD Center for Latino Studies Latinx Identity Symposium

The Center for Latino Studies Latinx Identity Symposium at the University of Houston-Downtown on Saturday, April 12, 2025 aims to highlight the outstanding faculty, creators, students, and initiatives from afar, Houston and its surrounding areas that focus on Latinx identity and multicultural communities. The Symposium will host participation from research and creative projects, university centers and programs, community initiatives, and student organizations that work in the intersection of education, community engagement and Latinx affairs. Panelists will present on their expertise, creativity and contribution into the many aspects Latinx identity interacts with our communities and universities.

Breakfast (coffee, tea, pastries and fruit)
Lunch (assorted sandwiches with vegan option, wraps, chips, cookies) Coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day.
