GTAP Student FAQ

What is GTAP?

The Gator Textbook Access Program (GTAP) is a course materials affordability program that provides all students (or undergraduate and graduate students) with access to their required materials by the first day of class for a flat, per semester fee.”

General GTAP Questions

The GTAP fee covers required course materials for undergraduate and graduate students. This includes e-books, courseware, and clickers. Only materials marked by faculty as, “Required” will be included in the GTAP fee. Recommended materials are not included in the GTAP fee.

Products and services that are not eligible for GTAP include but are not limited to web subscriptions such as Inchainge and Esri ArcGIS; software, survey, evaluation and assessment tools; and supplies such as goggles and science and art kits. In addition, recommended materials are not included in the GTAP fee.

All undergraduate and graduate students are automatically enrolled in GTAP at the point of course registration. Students not interested in the convenience and savings of GTAP can easily opt out each semester with no penalty.
