The University Archives contains the historical business records of both UHD (1974-present) and its predecessor, the South Texas Junior College (1948-1974). Most of these materials are physical, created on typewriters or early computers. However, the bulk of our archival materials from 2004 to the present were "born" digital and are therefore kept digitally, although not all are publically available through our Digital Archives website. Please contact the University Archivist if you wish to research a piece of UHD or STJC history and we're happy to help you find what you need!
