Nuventive

Nuventive is UHD's campus-wide platform for outcomes assessment by educational programs and co-curricular and administrative units.

Logging In

Authorized users can log into Nuventive using their UHD network email address and password. DUO Two-factor authentication requirements also apply when logging into Nuventive.

To login, please click the "Nuventive Login" button below and click the "Sign In" link at the top right. This will take you to the UHD Microsoft O365 single sign in page.

If you are already logged into other UHD services (like O365, Canvas, or PeopleSoft), you may not be required to enter your password.
If you have access to Nuventive and are unable to sign-in, please contact the IT Service Desk (itservicedesk@uhd.edu or by phone at 713-221-8031) for password assistance.

Nuventive FAQs

What is Nuventive and why are we using it?

Nuventive is a web-based program used for keeping track of assessment plans, outcomes, reports, and documents. It is the platform UHD selected for campus-wide outcomes assessment by educational programs and co-curricular and administrative units.

Who has access to Nuventive?

Individuals with key roles in assessment reporting will have tailored permissions for specific units within the platform. Likewise, those responsible for oversight and providing feedback will also have tailored permissions. Users can be granted either edit or view-only access to ensure accessibility.

For which academic year do we begin entering assessment plans and reports in Nuventive?

Assessment reports for all educational programs and co-curricular & administrative units for the 2023-2024 academic year will be completed in Nuventive. All assessment plans must also be entered in Nuventive.

When does Nuventive time out or log you off due to inactivity?

A timeout will occur after 60 minutes of inactivity. To avoid losing your work, refrain from walking away from your computer or page without saving. Nuventive is working on implementing an auto save, but it has not yet been deployed. So, remember to save your work frequently.

Does Nuventive have a preferred browser?

We recommend Google Chrome. Internet Explorer is not a supported web browser for the web application.

I uploaded documents to Nuventive in areas such as Implemented Changes, results, or Review sections, but they don’t appear as live links on those pages. Why is that?

Uploaded documents will not appear as clickable hyperlinks in the sections where they are uploaded; they will remain static. However, when reports are generated from your inputs, those documents will be accessible as clickable links with the report.

When I copy and paste data tables from Word or Excel into Results areas inside Nuventive, the generated reports often display them outside of the given space, making them look incomplete or unreadable. What is the solution to this?

Copying and pasting tables directly from Excel or Word does not always translate well into the Nuventive system. To avoid formatting issues, you can either build the tables directly within Nuventive or take a screenshot of the table and embed it as an image. We recognize this challenge, and Nuventive is actively working on improvements. To ensure readability, always review how embedded images/tables appear in the generated report before finalizing your submission.
