Volleyball (Women's) Club

The University of Houston-Downtown women's volleyball club team competes against other university club teams in the Lone Star Sports Club Conference (LSSC) and Houston Club Sports Conference (HCSC). The conference seasons are usually September through November and February through April. The team won the HCSC title in 2006, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, and the LSSCC titles in 2005, 2006, 2014, and 2019.

Spring 2024 Tryout Information
*Tryout Period: Jan. 8 - Jan. 26
*Tryout/Practice Dates: Mon. & Wed. 7pm-9pm, Fri. 5pm-7pm
Location: UHD Wellness and Success Center
Games: Wednesday evenings and some weekends
Registration: Register online for spring 2024 tryouts
*All interested students must register online prior to interest meetings and attending tryouts

Eligibility Requirements
•Must be a female student at UHD
•Must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) hours at UHD for the fall semester
•Must be enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) hours at UHD for the spring semester
•Must be in good academic standing at UHD
•Must possess good volleyball skills
•Must be dedicated to attending all team practices
•Must pay a membership fee immediately upon making the team
